As a Meals on Wheels Volunteer, you will belong to a team committed to helping homebound seniors maintain their health and independence with nutritious food, personal contact, and caring service. As the
Volunteer Site Coordinator,
you’ll lead and support our dedicated team of volunteers to ensure meals reach those who need them .
From organizing routes to stepping in to call, pack, or deliver when needed, coordinators lead the heart of our daily operations. You’ll coordinate schedules, make sure delivery drivers head out with the right bags, and assist with key office tasks that help keep Meals on Wheels running smoothly. This role is based at the Meals on Wheels office inside the
Federal Way Community Center on Thursdays from 8–11 a.m. , with some additional coordinator duties that can be done remotely. We’re looking for someone who can commit to the role long term and enjoys being part of a caring, mission-driven team. Qualifications:
Commitment to the well-being of elders, good communication and people skills, reliability, and good cheer. This is an on-going volunteer commitment and we are looking for someone available long-term. Requirements:
Complete an application, consent to a background check, be able to lift 15lbs, be at least 18 years of age. Volunteer drivers must have a Washington state driver's license and auto insurance.
