Job Description:
Provide exceptional neonatal intensive care in a 40-bed Level III NICU Collaborate with a dedicated group of Neonatologists providing continuous 24/7 in-house coverage Utilize advanced therapies such as HFOV (High-Frequency Oscillatory Ventilation), HFJV (High-Frequency Jet Ventilation), inhaled nitric oxide, and therapeutic hypothermia Work alongside on-site pediatric surgery and cardiology specialists to ensure comprehensive care Coordinate with a nurse-led neonatal transport team for patient transfers and emergencies Deliver care in a single-family room NICU model that prioritizes family-centered care No requirement to cover the newborn nursery, focusing exclusively on NICU patients Participate in quality improvement, safety initiatives, and collaborative clinical research Contribute to a team culture that values innovation, education, and compassionate family support Requirements:
Board Eligible (within 5 years of eligibility) or Board Certified in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine -
REQUIRED Board Certified in Pediatrics -
REQUIRED Virginia medical license or willingness to obtain Virginia license -
REQUIRED Clean malpractice and license history -
HIGHLY PREFERRED Visa support requirements (J1 or H1B) - please specify in the "Additional Submission Details " field -
