Maintenance Technician
28/hr - 32/hr | Brownsburg, IN Job Description
The primary responsibility of the Maintenance Technician is to ensure that all facility equipment is in proper and safe operating condition to minimize downtime for operations. This includes performing repairs and preventive maintenance on various systems such as conveyor systems, lift trucks, powered equipment, dock plates, trailer restraints, and overhead doors. The technician will also be responsible for maintaining and repairing facility electrical and lighting systems, HVAC systems, and plumbing systems, as well as interior finish work and repairs. Responsibilities
Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on conveyor systems. Conduct repairs and preventive maintenance on all lift trucks and powered equipment, dock plates, trailer restraints, and overhead doors. Execute repairs and modifications to facility electrical and lighting systems. Handle repairs and preventive maintenance to HVAC systems, including office and warehouse rooftop units. Utilize Parts Manuals and CMMS software to identify and locate required parts. Conduct interior finish work and repairs, including painting and drywall. Perform repairs to the plumbing system, including commercial restroom fixtures. Maintain large stationary air compressors and air distribution pipes. Essential Skills
Proficiency with conveyor systems, 3 phase wiring, and HVAC maintenance. Mechanical and electrical maintenance and repair skills. Troubleshooting abilities for conveyor systems, motors, and electrical systems. Experience with PLC troubleshooting, hydraulics, pneumatics, and air compressors. Minimum of one year of experience in industrial maintenance areas. Additional Skills & Qualifications
Excellent troubleshooting skills. Ability to demonstrate a high level of initiative and work independently. Must supply own basic hand tools; specialized tools and test equipment will be provided. Why Work Here?
