Position Responsibilities:
Administer purchase order with vendor to reduce overall cost of facility inputs.
Maintain on-time delivery.
Work with vendor to ensure facility inputs are available when needed; this includes being involved in quality issues.
Coordinate cycle counts to stay on established schedule.
Enter and evaluate cycle counts, with a focus on identifying systemic deficiencies.
Create, monitor and enhance Kanban systems that are applied to inventory and non-inventory items.
Work with accounting to address any vendor invoicing issues.
Reduce inventory levels.
Improve operations performance.
MRP evaluation with purchase order and work order .
Internal coordination of inputs to insure adherence to schedules.
Minimum Skills, Knowledge and Ability Requirements:
Associates or Bachelor’s Degree.
Minimum of 5-7 years of materials experience.
APICS Certification a plus.
Sound knowledge of Syteline.
Sound Knowledge of MRP evaluation.
Good communication and interpersonal skills. Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.
