Launch your career in Facilities Management at JLL! This is an entry-level position and can provide opportunities for growth in the facilities management field. You will work as part of a facilities management team at a client corporate campus managed by JLL. Location: Seattle, WA 98101 Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM Reporting To: Assistant Facility Manager Estimated compensation for this position is: $21.63-$26.49 hourly paid bi-weekly The compensation range listed is an estimate and not guaranteed. A salary offer will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data. What this job involves: The Mailroom Clerk is responsible for opening, sorting, and distributing incoming mail, collecting outgoing mail, and maintaining electronic logs and files pertaining to mail processing for the client. Also, may play a role in the achievement of the Key Performance Indicators and operational targets for the site, and perform duties with integrity & diligence in a professional manner. What your day-to-day will look like: Process and route all incoming/outgoing mail, packages, and courier deliveries with proper labeling and tracking follow-up Maintain mailroom operations including mail stops, package rooms, equipment maintenance, supply inventory, and pickup/delivery arrangements Provide exceptional customer service by resolving special delivery requirements, bulk mail needs, and tracking inquiries Support facility operations through asset logging, equipment maintenance (printers, postage meters), email correspondence, and operational efficiency recommendations Ensure compliance with client contracts, KPIs, and service level agreements while maintaining accurate records Foster teamwork and professional development through collaboration, performance management participation, and JLL cultural ambassadorship Operate office equipment including copy machines, fax systems, computers, and postage meters with high accuracy for sensitive materials Required Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent 1+ years of relevant work experience; such as previous corporate mailroom operations, material handling, shipping/receiving experience Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs., bend, move safely, and stand for extended periods IT proficiency in Microsoft Office and internet platforms Strong attention to detail for handling sensitive mail and ensuring proper routing Excellent communication and organizational skills with problem-solving abilities Self-motivated and independent with ability to work with minimal supervision Preferred experience: Trade school, union training, military service or college Tech savvy courier service expertise with UPS, Federal Express, and delivery platforms Customer service and client facing experience Please submit your application with an updated resume, location, and contact information.
