Leidos Defense Systems Electrical Manufacturing is excited to welcome an Operations Materials Coordinator
to our dynamic team, supporting the assembly of various hardware including electrical chassis, cables, printed circuit board assemblies, and electro-mechanical assemblies. Primary Responsibilities Partner with lab managers and technicians to support production efforts while ensuring timely delivery of products. Oversee material movement in and out of labs to facilitate production builds. Generate serial numbers for subassemblies, organize and verify kits, and prepare parts for operational use. Escalate any kit shortages or issues necessary to complete builds. Package finished electrical assemblies securely. Track and move electronic subassemblies between various labs, quality inspection areas, stockrooms, and shipping docks to meet safety, quality, and delivery targets. Perform necessary computer transactions to document material movements in our quality and accounting systems. Utilize visual management standards for labeling and staging totes of subassemblies, ensuring accurate and up-to-date work in process counts. Assist in training and supporting entry-level staff. Collaborate within a team, engaging with various functions, project teams, and production teams. Basic Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent with at least 3 years of experience in inventory or materials management. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in team settings. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, maintaining a clean workplace. Must be a U.S. Citizen and possess or be eligible to obtain and maintain a Final Secret Clearance. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Deltek Costpoint. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Familiarity with Manufacturing Execution Systems. Knowledge of Bill of Material (BOM) and Costpoint Manufacturing Orders. Experience with consumable storage and tracking. Understanding of ESD processes and procedures.
