Position Responsibilities Conduct assessments for patients spanning pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations utilizing both standardized evaluations and observational methods. Create tailored treatment plans focused on achieving both immediate and long-range communication, cognitive, or swallowing goals. Deliver one-on-one speech therapy interventions that enhance skills in communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing. Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including physical and occupational therapists, nurses, doctors, families, and caregivers to create comprehensive care plans. Provide vital education for patients and families to support therapeutic progress beyond clinical interactions. Assist with occasional inpatient speech therapy evaluations and treatments, ensuring seamless continuity of care. Keep thorough and up-to-date documentation in line with state, federal, and organizational regulations. Engage in ongoing professional development and remain informed on the latest advancements in speech-language pathology. Education & Qualifications
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Successful completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified. Licenses & Certifications
State licensure as a
Speech Language Pathologist . Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within the first 30 days of hire. Required Skills
