Accounts Payable Specialist
LHH Recruitment Solutions is hiring for an Accounts Payable Specialist in Fort Lauderdale, FL. This role is 100% onsite and the candidate MUST HAVE High-Volume Accounts Payable and LEGAL/Law Firm experience.
Worksite Location:
Fort Lauderdale, FL
Pay: $24-$26/hour (DOE) - Plus eligible for Overtime
Schedule : Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:30 PM (on-site)
Key Responsibilities: Manage all aspects of accounts payable, including setting up and maintaining vendor records
Review vendor statements (do not pay directly from statements)
Ensure compliance with W-9 and 1099 requirements
Process employee expense reimbursements
Handle scheduled check runs twice a month, plus urgent check requests
Perform account reconciliations and resolve invoice issues
Requirements:
MUST have at least 2 years of hands-on accounts payable experience in a LAW FIRM or LEGAL INDUSTRY
MUST have high volume experience as well.
MUST have Strong Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, lookups)
Highly accurate and organized, able to thrive in a fast-paced setting
Experience in legal or professional services environments is preferred
