Position Summary Information
Responsibilities
The Admissions Operations Specialist performs an array of systems work. This includes, data and or document processing, records updates, quality assurance and control efforts, integrity functions, testing, imaging, and customer service. The Specialist collaborates with the Recruitment team on numerous projects, using various computer systems. Adheres to applicable policies, processes, practices, and guidelines in order to serve applicants, prospects, callers, emailers, visitors, and colleagues effectively, accurately and efficiently. Processes all incoming applications and accompanying transcripts, test scores and recommendation letters for all applicants Enters all freshmen data from application CRM into systems database Prepares and maintains student documentation during enrollment process Monitors inquiries, files and databases efficiently and effectively to ensure that all tasks completely accurately and efficiently Serves as liaison to Admissions Officers, Enrollment Officers and other internal departments as appropriate Serves as back-up coverage for the University Concierge (answering phones and assisting prospective students and families as needed) Exhibits student centeredness in performance of all job duties. Treats all others with respect; understands the impact of culture/background on the behavior of others; respects differences among the Delta State University community and demonstrates inclusive behavior. Anticipates, listens to, understands and responds to customer needs. Delivers work products and services to customers in a way that reflects positively upon the department and the University. Other duties as assigned or required
Qualifications
Associate's Degree or higher. Familiarity with student information systems, MS Office, Banner/Recruit (Colleague, Slate, Recruiter and similar admissions CRM) Excellent organizational skills
Salary Commensurate with experience and qualifications
