About the Role:

The role is responsible for the development, promotion and strategically aligned implementation of the IPS Business System and supporting IPS Adhesives in meeting their Core Value Driver (CVD), Strategy Deployment (SD) and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) targets. This position will also help implement new business growth opportunities, drive world-class results in customer satisfaction, cost improvement, quality, on-time delivery, customer-value, innovation and ultimately operating financial performance. This role will provide the thought leadership, strategic direction, and tactical implementation for the development and advancement of IPS Business System within IPS Adhesives. In addition, this position is responsible for managing the organization's facility (including maintenance) and engineering team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Lead implementation of IPS Business system tools focused on operational improvement and waste elimination (5S, Standard Work, Kanban, Transactional Process Improvement, etc.) Drive Strategy Deployment or other major business initiative(s) to help develop the action plan and be a resource to facilitate the necessary tools that are used to meet Targets To Improve (TTI) and achieve business objectives. May be involved as a team member, project leader, coach, or facilitator. Lead diagnosis of workflow impediments and other wastes throughout the business, and provide experienced counsel on appropriate IPS Business System tools to eliminate them Serve as a resource and coach for guiding process improvement and IPSBS development in operations and commercial functions Lead, facilitate, and participate on kaizen events focused on North America operations Develop kaizen leaders throughout the organization in North America Support charter development, pre-work, attending report outs and reviewing sustainment, making sure corrective actions are put in place for Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that do not sustain Advise on measures to improve the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of the facility ensuring that facilities meet compliance standards and government regulations Serve as problem-solving-process subject matter expert and advisor. Develop and manage Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) program to insure maximum equipment uptime. Planning for the future by forecasting the facility's upcoming needs and requirements Oversee any renovations, refurbishments, and building projects Manage contractor activities on site. Direct staff management of a team, including establishing development plans, managing and tracking objectives and deliverables, and coaching for performance. All other duties as assigned. Education, Experience, and Skill Requirements:

Danaher Business System experience highly desirable. BS Degree required, Engineering Preferred Ability to accurately assess key business metrics and situations from a "plant managers" point of view 2 years of experience managing or supervising maintenance in a manufacturing environment, chemical manufacturing preferred. Ability to design, develop, and implement a IPS Business System roadmap for operations Good writing and administrative skills, including computer skills Knowledge of business systems, engineering, manufacturing, and financial systems Ability to champion IPS Business System and develop and install standard methodologies Ability to influence multiple levels of the organization, from functional leaders, project managers, engineers, and floor associates Ability to implement IPS Business System Fundamentals in a variety of situations Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills Analytical skills that include the understanding of how to collect critical data, identify key themes and trends, and translate them into plausible recommendations Displays a high sense of urgency, customer focus, and associate centricity Balance and promote strategic focus while able to manage ad-hoc tactical initiatives Proven track record of delivering results in a high-performance continuous improvement environment through implementation of and expertise with the latest LEAN management methods Self-directed with a high sense of urgency Ability to design, develop and execute lean business system roadmaps Demonstrated ability to develop kaizen leaders within the organization and install a knowledge base within the company.
