About the role We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quality Control (QC) Engineer to join our team. The QC Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality across all aspects of our nuclear projects. This role involves developing and implementing quality control procedures, conducting inspections, and collaborating with various departments to maintain compliance with industry regulations and company standards.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement comprehensive quality control plans and procedures for nuclear projects.
Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards.
Identify and document any quality issues or non-conformances and work with the project team to implement corrective actions.
Review and approve materials, equipment, and processes to ensure they meet quality standards.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to address quality-related concerns.
Maintain detailed records of inspections, tests, and quality control activities.
Provide training and guidance to project personnel on quality control procedures and best practices.
Stay updated on industry regulations, standards, and best practices related to nuclear technology and construction.
Lead initiatives to continuously improve quality processes and outcomes.
Experience
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality control, preferably in the nuclear or technology industry.
Strong knowledge of nuclear industry codes, standards, and regulations.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Certification in Quality Control (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Engineer) is a plus.

Estimated Starting Salary Range The estimated starting salary range for this role is $98,000 - $118,000 annually less applicable withholdings and deductions, paid on a bi-weekly basis. The actual salary offered may vary based on relevant factors as determined in the Company's discretion, which may include experience, qualifications, tenure, skill set, availability of qualified candidates, geographic location, certifications held, and other criteria deemed pertinent to the particular role.
