Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team and contribute to the design and development of building systems across a variety of projects. This role offers the opportunity to work on innovative solutions, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and ensure designs meet industry standards, building codes, and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the design and development of electrical systems for building projects, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards.
Prepare and review drawings, specifications, and other design documents.
Coordinate with architects, mechanical engineers, and other disciplines to ensure integrated project delivery.
Conduct calculations, load analyses, and system layouts for electrical systems.
Support senior engineers in managing schedules, budgets, and client communications.
Participate in site visits and field inspections as needed to verify design implementation.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Exam.
Certified as an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) by the State of Texas.
Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
Qualifications
Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of Texas.
Previous experience in the design of standard mechanical or electrical systems for buildings.
Experience working in an MEP consulting environment.
Excellent knowledge of applicable building codes.
