The Mission Critical practice is an international division that promotes collaborative work across various departments. Responsibilities
Assist project managers with various Mission Critical projects, and manage smaller projects independently. Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure project success. Maintain document control, manage project databases, and track project activities and communications. Support efforts in design, bidding, contract management, and project documentation. Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards. Manage contracts, change orders, invoices, and schedules. Contribute to project controls including cost reporting, scheduling, and progress tracking. Prepare reports on budgets, costs, cash flow, and project status for stakeholders. Participate in risk reviews and collaborate with the Legal Department as needed. Ensure proper project closeout and documentation. Promote and adhere to Burns & McDonnell’s safety policies and programs. Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field; 5 years of relevant experience. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle overtime if necessary. Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Primavera Contract Manager or similar software is preferred. This posting remains open for at least 72 hours and until filled.
