Position 2025 Entry Level Staff Engineer – Structural

Locations Westwood, MA (Hybrid work environment)

Division Building Services

Where would you step in? As a valuable member of our Structural team, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across the Northeast. You will be based in our Westwood, MA office and work in a hybrid environment.

About the Team We provide building design and inspection for new facilities as well as additions or renovation projects. We evaluate and design all building structural systems – roof decks, beams and girders, columns, masonry bearing walls, below‑grade concrete walls, and structural slabs. Our structural engineers also design equipment support structures, tanks and containment structures, and vehicular and pedestrian bridges.

Responsibilities You will assist our Structural team in researching, compiling, and examining a wide variety of structure‑related data and support staff with multiple projects and field assignments. You will perform engineering calculations, help develop reports and specifications, and have the opportunity to learn light drafting in AutoCAD and Revit and assist with small design tasks.

Qualifications

BS degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.

MS degree is a plus.

Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, or MicroStation is a plus.

Previous internship or full‑time work experience in structural engineering design and use of structural analysis software is helpful.

Compensation The starting salary for candidates with a Bachelor’s degree is $77,168; for those with a Master’s degree is $81,328.
