Responsibilities **
Maintain accurate financial records through double entry bookkeeping and general ledger accounting.
Prepare and process journal entries, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately.
Conduct balance sheet reconciliation and general ledger reconciliation on a regular basis.
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including invoicing, payment processing, and account analysis.
Prepare financial reports in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles to support management decision-making.
Perform bank reconciliations and ensure all discrepancies are resolved promptly.
Assist with payroll processing and maintain employee records accurately.
Collaborate with team members to support budgeting processes and financial planning initiatives.
Provide insights into financial concepts and assist in the preparation of tax documentation as needed.

Experience **
Proven experience as a bookkeeper, accounting clerk, or similar role.
Proficiency with QuickBooks, Excel, and basic accounting software.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Knowledge of basic accounting principles (GAAP preferred).
Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
High degree of confidentiality and professionalism.
