Packaging and container manufacturer needs an Operations Manager for its high-speed, high-volume manufacturing plant. This job is in Oklahoma. Working in a 24/7 unionized manufacturing environment, you will develop goals and processes for operations improvement. Your goal in running the organization will be to produce high quality products, manage increased volumes, and optimize facility, equipment, and manpower performance. You will manage the performance of manufacturing, engineering, materials, quality, IT, human resources, and finance, ensuring that business and cost targets are met. Provide leadership for employee development, process ownership, and accountability. Align objectives within each function to achieve the business strategic goals; including safety, quality, reliability, productivity, and people development. Understand and ensure all regulatory compliance standards are met. Ensure that technical objectives are met and any roadblocks or issues are quickly resolved. This is a high-speed, high-volume operation. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Manufacturing or equivalent. Requires manufacturing experience of 7 plus years with 5 years operations leadership. Experience in change management, process improvement and optimization. Able to lead in a way that builds trust with people in all departments from the shop floor to the executive offices. Should be accessible 24/7 and holidays to support facility as needed. Application Process
