This role is a Business Development Representative (BDR) at Indeed Flex. The BDR drives revenue growth by generating high-quality opportunities, booking qualified meetings, and engaging key stakeholders across enterprise and mid-market accounts. The BDR works closely with Account Executives and Inside Sales teams to maintain a steady flow of opportunities and support the broader sales process. Base pay

$54,000.00/yr - $80,000.00/yr Main purpose

The Business Development Representative (BDR) is a vital driver of revenue growth at Indeed Flex. This role is responsible for generating high-quality business opportunities by booking qualified meetings and engaging key stakeholders across enterprise and mid-market accounts. As the first point of contact in the sales process, the BDR lays the foundation for long-term client relationships and directly fuels the sales pipeline. Working closely with Account Executives, Inside Sales Representatives, and Enterprise Account Executives, the BDR ensures a steady flow of opportunities that enable the wider sales team to win new clients and expand our mission of helping people get jobs. This position is onsite in Austin, TX (at The Domain), five days per week, with the option to work from home on Thursdays. Qualifications & Skills

Self-motivated and resilient, with a strong hunter mentality and drive to exceed expectations in a high-growth environment. Multi-channel outreach including cold-calling. Expertise in account mapping, including identifying key stakeholders, understanding organizational structures, and uncovering cross-department opportunities. Research and map accounts across all verticals, leveraging tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator and ZoomInfo to identify company structures, key decision-makers, and business needs. Proven success in business development or direct sales, consistently exceeding targets, with experience engaging enterprise-level organizations and stakeholders at both C-level and site-level. Demonstrated ability to sell intangible solutions, positioning value effectively to address client needs and challenges. Hands-on experience with CRM systems (preferably Salesforce) and sales engagement platforms such as Outreach.io. Proven ability to manage multiple sales processes simultaneously, maintaining accuracy and momentum throughout the pipeline. Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to quickly build rapport over the phone and engage decision-makers across multiple organizational levels. Collaborative mindset, with experience working cross-functionally alongside Marketing and Sales teams (Inside Sales, Account Executives, and Enterprise Account Executives). Responsibilities & Duties

Engage prospects through discovery calls, establishing relationships with senior stakeholders at both enterprise and site levels to effectively position Indeed Flexs solutions. Generate and nurture leads by building relationships with warm prospects, developing new opportunities through outreach and networking, and identifying potential sales outlets. Collaborate with Marketing and Sales teams to develop account strategies, support account-based marketing initiatives, and ensure alignment on sales approaches for target accounts. Manage the sales pipeline by maintaining accurate records in Salesforce, executing outreach sequences through Outreach.io, and engaging sales executives at the right stage for next steps. Continuously refine lead generation practices, contributing to the evolution of Indeed Flexs sales playbook and driving market penetration. Benefits

Full-Time Position. Hours are Monday - Friday, regular business hours. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. Travel

This position requires minimal travel, less than 25% of the time. Most travel is outside of the local area and will require overnight accommodations. All travel is subject to the Indeed Flex travel policy and will be recompensed per the policy. Work Authorization / Security Clearance
