Our Projects encompass everything from building foundations, structural steel, and all types of process and material moving equipment to intricate process piping and instrumentation & control systems. We excel at completing complex, multi-craft projects under challenging schedule constraints. The Logistics Coordinator plays a key role in managing the flow of materials and tools in and out of the warehouse. This position is responsible for coordinating outgoing deliveries and pickups, overseeing receiving and putaway processes, and supporting daily warehouse operations to ensure efficient and timely movement of inventory. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities. Salary Range:

$25 - $34 per hour (DOE), FLSA non-exempt (OT eligible). Key Responsibilities: Dispatch & Delivery Coordination: Schedule, dispatch, and track outgoing deliveries to construction job sites and other company locations. Communicate with drivers and field personnel to ensure accurate and timely deliveries. Monitor transportation needs and adjust priorities based on urgency and resource availability. Prioritize transportation needs and ensure proper documentation (e.g., delivery tickets, packing slips).

Work occasional early morning or late shifts to accommodate delivery schedules. Receiving & Putaway: Oversee daily receiving operations, verifying shipment accuracy, and inspecting goods for damage. Coordinate with purchasing and repair teams to ensure parts/tools are received and processed correctly. Ensure timely and accurate putaway of items into designated storage locations using the warehouse management system (WMS). Assist in resolving discrepancies with suppliers or internal teams. Warehouse & Supply Chain Support: Maintain accurate inventory records and support in cycle counts or full inventory audits. Monitor stock levels and flag supply chain issues, and coordinate with procurement. Support tool repair workflows and manage transfers between the warehouse, vendors, and field teams. Ensure warehouse organization, cleanliness, and safety. Collaborate with picking, customer service, and repair teams for seamless operations. Relationships: Maintain proactive and positive relationships within the JH Kelly operating groups and teams, including shop and field craft personnel. Foster positive relationships with customer representatives, vendors, suppliers, subcontractors, safety, CAD/BIM, accounting, IT, and all project teams. Experience / Qualifications: Associate's or bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience). 2+ years in logistics, warehousing, dispatching, or supply chain operations. Preferred: Experience in construction, industrial, or tool-based warehouse environments. Experience with coordinating drivers, deliveries, or field logistics Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook). Forklift operation experience or willingness to become certified. Necessary Skills: Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities. Problem-solving skills with the ability to escalate issues when necessary. Comfortable collaborating with field crews, vendors, and internal teams. Basic knowledge of inventory management practices. Physical Requirements: The Logistics Coordinator role involves prolonged periods of desk work and computer use, as well as physical tasks in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures. Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods. Forklift operation experience is preferred, though willingness to become certified is acceptable. Occasional early morning or late shifts may be required to accommodate delivery schedules.
