About the Role
We have an
immediate need
for a skilled
AP/AR Specialist
to join our team on a
contract basis , with strong potential to convert to a full-time role. In this self-directed position, you'll handle full-cycle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions, support the month-end close process, and help maintain accurate financial records. You'll be part of a small office where initiative and reliability are essential.
Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day AP and AR transactions Maintain vendor and customer records and ensure timely payments and collections Support cash application and bank reconciliations Assist with general ledger entries and month-end close activities Prepare aging reports and resolve payment discrepancies Communicate with internal teams and external partners professionally and promptly Qualifications
3+ years of experience in an AP/AR or general accounting role Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently Proficiency with Excel and accounting systems (QuickBooks, Sage, or similar) Solid understanding of basic accounting principles Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred What We Offer
