This position involves the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing and HVAC systems, ensuring they operate efficiently and meet all regulatory standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and conducting routine inspections to prevent future problems. Additionally, this role requires collaboration with other maintenance staff and contractors to ensure timely project completion and high-quality service delivery. Ultimately, the Plumber-HVAC Tech contributes significantly to tenant satisfaction and the overall value of our properties. Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Valid plumbing and HVAC technician license. Proven experience in plumbing and HVAC installation and repair. Preferred Qualifications: Certification in advanced HVAC systems. Experience with energy-efficient systems and green technologies. Knowledge of local building codes and regulations. Responsibilities: Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances. Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance. Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing and HVAC issues, providing effective solutions in a timely manner. Collaborate with other maintenance staff and contractors to coordinate repairs and renovations. Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports and inventory management. Skills: The required skills for this position include strong technical knowledge of plumbing and HVAC systems, which are essential for diagnosing and resolving issues effectively. Attention to detail is crucial, as it ensures that installations and repairs meet safety standards and function properly. Problem-solving skills are utilized daily to identify the root causes of issues and implement appropriate solutions.
