Job Summary:
The Nuclear Medicine Technologist performs a variety of clinical diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures, including general studies, cardiac studies, and related computer-assisted analyses. This role plays a vital part in supporting accurate diagnoses and effective patient care through high-quality imaging and professional expertise. Required Qualifications: Graduate from an accredited Nuclear Medicine program. One of the following national certifications (upon hire):
Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB), or Registered Technologist - Nuclear Medicine (RT[N]) - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
California Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification (upon hire). Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association (upon hire). Preferred Qualifications:
1-2 years of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in a hospital or clinical setting. Proficiency with PET/CT imaging and hybrid modalities. Experience working with PACS, EMR systems, and nuclear medicine-specific software. Strong patient care and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team. Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and evolving best practices in diagnostic imaging.
