We are seeking an experienced
Accounting Manager, Controlling
to join the Corporate Accounting team during a pivotal time of transformation. This is a critical role for a motivated professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to help modernize financial close and reporting processes. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance while driving improvements in systems, controls, and overall data integrity.
Responsibilities
What you will do:
Manage accounting for core areas including debt, interest expense, other income/expenses, inventory, SG&A, and accrued expenses Oversee analysts handling treasury-related accounting (cash, prepaids, investments, reconciliations) Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and schedules across multiple entities Analyze monthly/quarterly results, explain variances against budget and prior periods Partner with FP&A and business teams to ensure alignment of actuals with forecasts Drive improvements to deliver a more efficient, organized, and insight-driven close process Ensure effective documentation, controls, and SOX compliance for reporting processes Support external and internal reporting requirements, including SEC filings Prepare audit-ready documentation and respond to internal/external audit requests Mentor junior staff by reviewing work, sharing technical expertise, and fostering accountability Contribute to strategic initiatives such as intercompany accounting, legal entity rationalization, and system/process enhancements Qualifications
What you bring:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA strongly preferred 6-9 years of experience, ideally combining public accounting and corporate accounting Public company experience with strong knowledge of US GAAP, SOX, and the close process Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management skills Confident communicator who can collaborate effectively across finance and business teams Self-motivated, able to work independently while contributing to team goals Driven to make an impact, lead others, and thrive in a fast-moving environment
