Hybrid Role: Must be On-Site a Minimum of 2 Days/Week in Austin, Texas Job Title: Project Manager - Customer Renewable Solutions (Contract Position)

We are seeking a highly capable and experienced Project Manager to lead technical and business projects within the Customer Renewable Solutions work group. This role is focused on supporting existing renewable energy programs and launching new initiatives, requiring coordination across teams, vendors, and leadership stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the full lifecycle of technical and business projects within renewable energy initiatives Develop project scopes, plans, timelines, and resource allocations Coordinate internal teams and external vendors to ensure project alignment and delivery Facilitate requirements gathering, stakeholder engagement, and solution definition Oversee project procurement activities including RFP creation and bid evaluation Manage project risks, issues, budgets, and change control processes Deliver high-quality documentation including specifications, business cases, and reporting Provide regular updates to leadership on progress, risks, and key milestones Ensure alignment with organizational goals and compliance with internal processes Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Conduct day-to-day project coordination and team communications Maintain and track project schedules using Microsoft Project or equivalent tools Lead and document stakeholder meetings and working sessions Collaborate with subject matter experts and IT to refine technical solutions Update status reports, dashboards, and project documentation in SharePoint or Teams Present progress, challenges, and recommendations to business and technical leaders Apply change management practices to ensure smooth implementation of initiatives Troubleshoot issues and provide solutions during planning and execution phases Preferred Experience and Attributes

4-7 years of experience leading technical projects with cross-functional teams Strong background in project procurement, RFPs, and vendor evaluation Proven use of project management methodologies and tools, including WBS Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Visio, and Teams Experience applying change management methodologies Strong communication skills and experience presenting to all levels of an organization Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field Experience managing projects related to solar energy or photovoltaics Ability to lead and support geographically distributed or remote teams Familiarity with utility industry practices and renewable program operations Experience working with or within government or public sector organizations
