Limited, as needed (pre-approved) About the role EON Holdings is standing up a new VA outpatient clinic and seeking a Program Manager to lead Initial Outfitting, Transition & Activation (IOT&A) end-to-end—driving schedules, stakeholders, FF&E, training, and Day-One readiness. If you know how to take a healthcare facility from construction turnover to patient-ready operations, this is your lane. What you’ll do
Own the activation plan and
Activation Integrated Master Schedule (AIMS) ; align with construction and IT.
Lead
user groups
and the
Integrated Project Team (IPT) ; drive agendas, decisions, action logs, and minutes.
Run
risk management
and
change control ; maintain live registers with clear mitigation and impact tracking.
Orchestrate
FF&E planning : room-by-room MEL validation, procurement package sequencing, mock-ups, installation coordination, punch lists, and acceptance.
Coordinate
transition planning
(moves, kits, Day-in-the-Life exercises) and
training logistics
with clinical/biomed/EVS.
Maintain project artifacts and status in
SharePoint/OCAMS ; deliver concise
monthly status reports
tied to milestones and billing.
Partner with VA stakeholders (Logistics, OI&T, Infection Control, Safety, Biomed, RE/CFM) to keep scope, schedule, and quality on track.
Be onsite in Washington D.C. during core hours (Mon–Fri, 8:00–4:30) with occasional off-hours during activation windows.
What you’ll bring
7+ years
as a
lead Project/Program Manager
on healthcare space projects (hospital/clinic fit-outs, expansions, or similar).
5+ years
of
healthcare IOT&A
experience (initial outfitting, transition, activation).
Demonstrated knowledge of
healthcare infrastructure & operations
(MEP touchpoints, life-safety, logistics/biomed/IT coordination).
Fluency in
MS Project
(or equivalent) and
SharePoint ; comfort driving live registers and dashboards.
Strong stakeholder facilitation, written communication, and meeting discipline.
Nice to have
PMP or comparable PM credential.
Prior VA activation experience; familiarity with
OCAMS/SharePoint
activation toolsets.
Lean/Six Sigma or similar process-improvement background.
Work environment & compliance
Non-personal services role (you lead the work—not under day-to-day gov’t direction).
Background onboarding (fingerprinting/e-QIP), privacy/security training, and site badging required.
