Charter Wire - 7850 N. 81st Street, Milwaukee, WI 53222 Shift:

10:00 PM - 6:00 AM, Monday-Friday Key Responsibilities: Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production machinery, including high-speed stamping presses and automated equipment. Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure equipment reliability. Diagnose and resolve technical issues using blueprints, schematics, and manuals. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance processes and support ongoing improvements. Adhere to safety protocols, utilizing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Engage in continuous learning and support process improvements. Required Qualifications: Technical degree in a relevant field, journeyman's certification, or 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience. Ability to read and interpret complex electrical schematics and codes. Strong foundation in electrical codes, electronic controls, and electrical theory. Experience with line setups, inspections, and electrical testing equipment. Proficient math skills, including fractions and percentages. Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with PLCs and drives (e.g., Allen Bradley, Siemens). Knowledge of AC/DC motors, HVAC, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems. Experience with welding tools and precision measuring instruments. Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach. A problem-solving mindset with a desire to learn and grow. Physical Requirements: Ability to stand and walk frequently. Occasional lifting up to 60 lbs and minimal climbing or lifting over 100 lbs.
