Responsibilities
Exemplify community standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and operational organization.
Adhere to food quality, appearance and presentation standards at all times.
Produce and serve menu cycle programs that comply with required nutritional/dietary criteria as per local regulations and prepare diets as per policy.
Exhibit cooking standards of speed, accuracy, and efficiency.
Demonstrate knowledge in all areas of cooking preparation and production.
Assist with serving meals and ware washing as necessary.
Visit residents periodically to evaluate food service quality, quantity, temperature, and appearance; conduct evaluations to improve service.
Represent the community in a warm and inviting manner, creating a positive marketing environment.
Support a culture where business decisions and employee engagement drive top‑line revenue and occupancy.
Qualifications
High school diploma.
Culinary degree preferred.
Minimum of one year experience in a restaurant, senior living, or equivalent cooking environment.
