Help Desk and Microsoft 365 Administrator
ITCON Services is looking for a bright, motivated Help Desk and Microsoft 365 Administrator to support our client in McLean, Virginia. The individual will be responsible for supporting daily IT operations and must be experienced and technically skilled in help desk and Microsoft 365 administration.
The candidate should have a strong understanding of installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of Windows 11 on devices such as the Surface Pro and other laptops, as well as configuration and troubleshooting of Mac devices. Experience with the Microsoft 365 application and admin suite—including Microsoft Entra ID, Exchange, SharePoint, and related tools—will be essential.
We are looking for someone with a flexible, accommodating working style who is excited about technology and takes initiative. The role requires the ability to troubleshoot IT issues while learning new tools and technologies.
This position is located on-site four days a week.

Required Skills And Qualifications
Maintain essential Microsoft 365 and Help Desk operations, including end‑user support, Windows 11 troubleshooting, VPN setup, M365 applications troubleshooting, laptop configuration, device tracking, etc.
Maintain Office infrastructure requirements including Cisco Meraki and Ubiquiti access points, switches, Canon printers, MS Teams soft phones, etc.
Configure and troubleshoot Microsoft Surface Pro devices and other laptops for ITCON employees.
Use a ticketing system and respond to tickets within SLA guidelines.
Perform Microsoft Entra ID user account administration and monitoring.
Perform Entra ID group administration, create security permissions, and create group policies.
Administer and monitor Microsoft Office 365 Exchange email accounts.
Collaborate with ITCON contract teams to troubleshoot, identify root causes, and provide technical support.
Manage IT equipment inventory and asset management.
Respond to IT service issues and requests in a timely manner.
Show initiative and work with minimal supervision.
Communicate effectively both orally and in writing to facilitate critical discussions between business customers, project stakeholders, and the contracting team.
Desired Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in technology, computer science, or related field.
3–5 years of experience as a Systems or Help Desk Administrator.
Experience with the M365 Admin Suite.
Experience with PowerShell.
Experience with Microsoft Intune and device management.
Experience administering Microsoft Teams.
Experience with printer management.
Excellent client ticket management and resolution skills.
Strong verbal communication and written documentation skills.
