Join our team of competent and compassionate professionals as a Counselor in the Cole's Placeprogram at Behavioral Health Network!

Your experience, knowledge and great skills will support the Cole's Place program with the following: Supporting the growth, independence, and safety of the individuals served toward the goal of delivering high quality sound clinical treatment. Overseeing services provided to individuals to ensure compliance and to provide the best recovery-based environment possible. Documenting individual comprehensive assessments, develop and implement treatment plans. Providing guidance and direct counseling to individuals served. Facilitating diverse psycho-educational groups for the individuals served. Providing referrals to appropriate agencies, as needed. Completing documentation regarding individuals' care in a timely fashion & maintaining appropriate verbal and written communication with other staff. Providing transportation, crisis intervention, and emergency services, as needed. Following licensing, funding, safety, and maintenance concerns at all times. Who are we?

Cole's Place

is a 40-bed residential program located in Springfield, MA, for men in recovery from drug and alcohol addiction. Our program provides up to 6 months of post-ATS treatment and recovery support for men ages 18+ with a primary alcohol or drug addiction disorder. The diverse experienced team at Cole's Place provides a variety of services including individual and group counseling, therapy and psycho-educational groups, individualized treatments plans, and medical and mental health referrals, among others.

Commitment to empowerment and growth, human rights, and community integration for individuals served. 1-2 years of experience in Human Services with minimum of one year experience working in substance treatment environment (required). High School Diploma or G.E.D. (required). LADCI or LADCII or equivalent (preferred). Familiarity with Internet, word processing and email systems. Working knowledge of DPH Bureau of Substance Addiction Services regulations. Valid Driver's License (required). Vehicle for use during all working hours should be registered and inspected in accordance with 540 CMR 4.00 (required).

Available Schedules:

Full Time: Tuesday-Saturday, 10:00am-6:30pm or Monday-Friday, 6:45am-3:15pm
