The Order Selector I fills customer orders, tracks inventory, and loads and unlocks trucks for inbound and outbound shipments. Key responsibilities

Accurately picks and stages inventory for customer orders in a timely manner. Safely operates forklift throughout the warehouse. Keeps warehouse neat and organized. Escalates errors quickly to supervisor. Assists with maintaining inventory levels in stock bins. Assists with putting inventory away into racking. Assists with relocating and consolidating damaged inventory while completing proper documentation. Complies with all company policies and procedures and operates all equipment in a safe and food-safe manner. Complies with Bob’s Red Mill food safety policies and procedures including adherence to FDA regulations, Safe Quality Food (SQF) Standards, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). Responsible for reporting food safety and quality concerns to Supervisors and/or Department Manager. Performs other duties and tasks as assigned. Supervisory responsibilities

None. This position reports to the Warehouse Supervisor. Skills, knowledge and abilities

Ability to perform basic mathematical functions, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Possesses effective communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work independently and in collaboration with others. Ability to self-motivate and focus on goals. Proficiency with job-related tools and equipment. Ability to safely operate a forklift. Ability to use a hand-held RF scanner. Ability to read, understand, and communicate operational and safety information in English. Demonstrates Respect, Teamwork, Accountability, and Determination. Ability to work in an environment where exposure to potential food allergens is present. Education and experience

1 or more years of forklift, preferably reach forklift, driving experience in the food manufacturing industry, AND High school diploma or equivalent; OR Any combination of education and additional years of experience that provides the necessary skills, knowledge, and ability to perform assigned tasks. Physical Demands

Frequently requires the ability to lift and stack items weighing up to 50 pounds. Position may require standing for up to 4 hours at a time. Work Environment

The primary work environment is a fast-paced warehouse, with seasonal temperature fluctuations. May be required to wear personal protective equipment in some areas of the warehouse. Employees will be exposed to common food allergens. Benefits
