Position Overview The Pricing Analyst will be responsible for analyzing, developing, and maintaining competitive pricing strategies to ensure the company’s pricing is aligned with market conditions and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct thorough research on market trends, competitor pricing, and product positioning to inform strategic pricing decisions and evaluate effectiveness of current strategies.

Assist in developing, implementing, and managing pricing strategies for new and existing products, ensuring alignment with financial goals and market conditions.

Create and maintain a database of key products for competitor pricing.

Monitor and evaluate product margin to ensure profitability targets are met.

Analyze large datasets related to sales performance, cost structure, and customer demand to evaluate pricing effectiveness and recommend adjustments when necessary.

Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including Accounting, Sales, Marketing, Information Technology, Supply Chain, and others.

Maintain and update pricing for customers, including custom pricing models and discount structures based on volume, contracts, or special agreements.

Assist Operations in assessing the impact of raw material costs, labor, and overhead on product pricing, ensuring that pricing strategies accommodate cost fluctuations.

Prepare reports on pricing performance, trends, and opportunities for improvement for products and customer channels.

Comply with all company policies and procedures and operate all equipment in a safe and food‑safe manner.

Comply with Bob’s Red Mill food safety policies and procedures including adherence to FDA regulations, Safe Quality Food (SQF) Standards, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).

Report food safety and quality concerns to Supervisors and/or Department Manager.

Perform other duties and tasks as assigned.

This position reports to the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis.

Able to work where exposure to potential food allergens may occur.

Education and Experience

3 or more years of pricing, finance, or data analysis experience, AND

Bachelor’s Degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related business field; OR

Any combination of education and additional years of experience that provides the necessary skills, knowledge, and ability to perform assigned tasks.

Preferred Skills

Experience pricing with large brick‑and‑mortor chains and e‑commerce platforms.

Experience working in food manufacturing or consumer packaged goods industry.

Proficiency in using ERP systems and supporting software, Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred.

Proficiency in using Prophix or similar programs.

Physical Demands Position requires the ability to sit for up to approximately 2 hours at a time.

Work Environment

Primary environment is an office setting or remote; no adverse conditions associated.

Occasional time may be spent in production and warehouse areas of the facility.

Remote work may be available as an option.
