Shift Monday - Friday (with overtime/on-call for off-shift and possible weekends) Pay Rate:
$18.00 - $28.00/hour (based on experience) Employment Type:
Contract to hire (up to 5% of base bonus at this time)

Position Summary: The PLC Technician owns troubleshooting, upgrades, and hands-on installation of production equipment, along with hardware design and implementation. You'll apply classical control theory and PLC/HMI expertise to improve reliability, throughput, and safety across a modern manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities & Duties:
Troubleshoot and upgrade existing equipment; lead control-system improvements from design through implementation. Perform hands-on installation/support for new or modified production equipment. Apply machine control knowledge and classical control theory to stabilize and optimize processes. Use electronic test equipment (e.g., Fluke meters) to diagnose and resolve issues. Create/maintain electrical schematic drawings in AutoCAD and AutoCAD Electrical. Contribute to SCADA development and enhancements (Ignition, Python, LabVIEW). Program PLCs, develop HMIs, and integrate hardware/software changes in compliance with safety, quality, and cGMP expectations.
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering preferred. Minimum 3 years of engineering experience with direct PLC programming. PLC programming proficiency (Rockwell ControlLogix, MicroLogix; Koyo). HMI development with RSView32, FactoryTalk View, and C-more panels. Hardware design experience, including PLC/VFD wiring diagrams. Industrial protocols: EtherNet/IP, DeviceNet, Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP. Motion control knowledge (servo, stepper, DC, AC drives). Serial communications (RS-232/485). Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and cross-functional communication skills.
