LHH Recruitment Solutions
is working with a company in Kansas City who is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Coordinator to join their accounting & finance team. The AP Coordinator will be responsible for processing invoices, reconciling vendor statements, and ensuring timely and accurate payments. This role plays a critical part in maintaining strong vendor relationships and supporting the overall financial health of the organization.
Responsibilities:
Review and process invoices for accuracy and proper approval. Match purchase orders, receipts, and invoices. Ensure timely payment of vendor invoices via check, ACH, or wire. Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies. Maintain vendor records and ensure compliance with company policies. Assist with month-end closing and reporting. Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding payments and invoices. Support audits and provide documentation as needed. Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred. 2+ years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Pay Details:
$24.00 to $26.00 per hour
