In support of the development of Corporate Security Team as a service line, and in support of the Corporate Security mission to compassionately protect and help the people, property, and quality of our health system, together, the Corporate Security Dispatcher Center CSOC Supervisor identifies, analyzes, and supports incidents that are impactful or potentially impactful to RWJBarnabas Health, its hospitals, sites, workforce, assets, the brand, patients, and visitors. The CSOC Supervisor supervises the CSOC Dispatcher Team and their functions, assesses data sources (workplace violence, drug diversion, local security dispatch, weapons detection, proximity alerts, crime risk, media and social media) to assess risk and identify trends, activates workflows, and notifies leadership for appropriate actions. The CSOC Supervisor monitors security surveillance cameras, alarms, card access data, panic and staff duress alarms, answers calls, operates access control and mass notification technology, and dispatches response personnel as needed. The CSOC Supervisor supports the corporate headquarters, medical group and ambulatory sites, and assists the Office of Emergency Management during crises and non-crisis incidents of various types. Qualifications

Required: Bachelor’s degree in Corporate Security, National Security, Criminal Justice, Law, Business Management, Emergency Management, or related field. At least four years of security dispatch or command center operator experience. Excellent administrative skills, including written and verbal communication. Strong skills in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint. Expert level skills in Microsoft Excel including the ability to make pivot tables quickly. Results-oriented with critical thinking and multi-tasking capabilities. Ability to communicate effectively across a highly matrixed organization. Preferred: Master’s Degree preferred in Finance, Business, Corporate Security, National Security, Criminal Justice, Law, Business Management, Emergency Management, or related field. Experience in Corporate Security, Hospital Security, or Contract Security. Membership in Security Organizations such as ASIS International or IAHSS. Scheduling

Full Time Essential Functions

Experience with access control systems, CCTV management, and visitor management systems. Learn new technology quickly. Maintain personal and professional integrity, courage, and compassion. System Monitoring: Continuous monitoring of CCTV, access control, fire alarms, and other security systems to detect threats or breaches. Data Analytics: Review, assess, analyze, and identify trends in data sets using Excel. Alarm & Incident Response: Respond to security and fire alarms, assess the situation, and dispatch personnel or contact emergency services as needed. Communication: Relay information via radio, phone, and email to security staff, management, and external agencies. Personnel Dispatch: Coordinate and dispatch security personnel and equipment to incidents. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed logs of events and actions; prepare management reports and recommendations. Emergency Coordination: Coordinate with local emergency responders during crises such as medical emergencies, fires, or natural disasters. Security Operations Supervision: Manage the team, scheduling, procedures, workflows, escalations, and cover roles as needed. Other Duties: Responsibilities may change with or without notice.
