Electrical Manufacturing Engineer
– Parker Hannifin Join us in optimizing plant maintenance, engineering, and operations through advanced electrical control systems. This role involves designing, implementing, supporting, and improving control solutions to enhance equipment uptime and performance. Responsibilities
Support plant maintenance, engineering, and operations to maintain uptime of critical equipment Design and develop control systems and software to meet operational needs for project specifications Conduct system analysis to evaluate functionality and identify areas for improvement Program and configure PLCs, SCADA, DCS, and other control interfaces to optimize performance Collaborate with maintenance, engineers, project managers, and clients to ensure systems integration and operability Test and troubleshoot control components to ensure robustness and safety of the system Maintain and upgrade existing control systems to enhance efficiency and longevity Provide support and training to other engineers and users on operating newly implemented or modified systems Ensure compliance with industry regulations and maintain documentation of procedures and configurations Perform regular maintenance checks on control systems and affiliated machinery Assist staff in recovery of or upgrade of panels, circuits, and processors for control systems Simulate control strategies to predict system behavior under different conditions Collaborate closely with maintenance and operations teams to achieve process optimization Document accurate records for future reference and regulatory compliance Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or related field. Proven experience in a control engineering role, preferably within manufacturing. Understanding of computer programming and software related to automated control systems. Familiarity with industry-standard tools and software, such as CAD, MATLAB, LabVIEW, Rockwell Factory Talk, Siemens, Allen Bradley, ABB, etc. Equal Employment Opportunity
