Travel Ultrasound Technologist
for an exciting job in
Elmhurst, NY. Responsibilities Perform general and specialized ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, OB/GYN, vascular, and small parts imaging. Explain procedures clearly to patients while ensuring comfort, safety, and confidentiality. Capture, review, and evaluate diagnostic images for accuracy and completeness. Maintain and operate ultrasound equipment, following safety and sterilization protocols. Assist physicians during specialized procedures such as biopsies or interventional studies. Accurately document all imaging procedures and patient information in electronic systems. Qualifications Minimum
1 year of general ultrasound experience , preferably in an acute care or hospital setting. ARDMS certification (RDMS)
required. Completion of an
accredited ultrasound technology program
or equivalent (military training accepted). BLS certification
required.
