Our client, a global freight forwarder, is seeking to hire a Licensed Customs Broker to join their office in Cleveland, Ohio. The Customs Brokerage Manager will build and lead the customs department. Primary Duties:
Process and manage daily customs entry activities for the brokerage. Ensure strict compliance with all applicable regulations and standards. Respond efficiently to inquiries from CBP and other Partner Government Agencies (PGAs). Collaborate with importers and sales teams to verify correct tariff classifications. Build and nurture professional relationships with carriers, regulatory bodies, and import partners. Manage critical documents including bills of lading, invoices, and other import-related paperwork. Qualifications:
U.S. Customs Broker License is required. A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred. Familiarity with customs management software is a plus. Strong communication skills, with the ability to work independently. Seniority level
