Overview
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a dynamic Partner Solution Architect with expertise in Data & GenAI. You will play a crucial role in enabling our customers to effectively deploy GenAI workloads on AWS. In this strategic position, you will foster senior-level relationships with innovative Independent Software Vendors (ISV) and develop tailored technological strategies that meet their unique business needs. This position requires at least 30% travel, including international opportunities, and can be based in Austin, Seattle, or Arlington (DC).
Key Responsibilities
Engage with partners to gain a deep understanding of their business and technical requirements.
Design and implement solutions utilizing AWS services such as EC2, EKS, ECS, and SageMaker for the GenAI practice.
Collaborate closely with AWS field sales, training, and support teams to drive partner success.
Promote AWS services and ISV solutions by sharing best practices through blog posts, whitepapers, reference architectures, and public speaking engagements.
Act as a technical liaison between partners and AWS service engineering, providing crucial product feedback and facilitating feature adoption.
Conduct training sessions for builders leveraging AWS, while sharing knowledge with the AWS solutions architecture community.
Build and maintain strong relationships with senior technical personnel within partner organizations to advocate for cloud adoption.
Develop proof-of-concept projects for solutions involving AWS services and drive integration of partner products with AWS offerings.
A Day in the Life
Conduct meetings with partner product managers and engineering teams to identify challenges and gather feedback on ongoing development efforts.
Build and test proof-of-concepts or create code samples to demonstrate AWS capabilities.
Write informative blogs or white papers, staying up-to-date with the latest technological advancements in the market.

Basic Qualifications
8+ years of experience in technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, and data & analytics.
3+ years of practical experience in the design, implementation, or consulting of applications and infrastructures.
10+ years of experience in IT development or consulting in software or internet sectors.
Recent hands-on experience with AI/ML workloads.
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of experience in infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking.
Knowledge of AWS services, market trends, customer base, and industry verticals.
Experience engaging with end-user or developer communities.

The compensation reflects the cost of labor across various U.S. geographic markets. This position offers a competitive base pay range of $138,200 - $239,000 per year, based on location, knowledge, skills, and experience. Additional compensation options may be available as part of a total compensation package.
