Akkodis is seeking an
Engineering Technician for a Contract job with a client in Rochester, New York.
This role is ideal for candidates with hands-on experience in electronics, mechanics, and troubleshooting, who are comfortable working under general supervision and contributing to technical operations.
Rate Range:
$25.00/hour to $30.00/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Engineering Technician job responsibilities include:
Perform a variety of duties in electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and/or optical areas. Assist in the design, construction, testing, and check-out of test equipment. Construct, troubleshoot, calibrate, adjust, test, diagnose, and maintain equipment, components, devices, or systems. Work from schematics, manuals, engineering drawings, and verbal or written instructions. Operate related equipment, conduct tests, and report data in prescribed formats. Perform calibration and alignment checks; make adjustments and replacements as directed. Prepare prescribed compounds and solutions. Desired Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or 2 years post-secondary/Associate's Degree with 0-2 years of related experience. Ability to follow established processes and escalate issues appropriately. Strong communication skills to interact with team members and explain technical information. Pay Details:
$25.00 to $30.00 per hour
