Data Technician / Operations Assembler
for a
Contract

Bridgeport, AL . The ideal candidate will support ongoing operations in data centers, performing manual tasks such as equipment assembly, cable installation, and hardware maintenance.
Rate Range:
$20.85/hour to $22.85/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Data Technician / Operations Assembler job responsibilities include:
Transfer tools, parts, equipment, and supplies to and from workstations and other areas. Maintain cleanliness of the working environment. Assemble/disassemble and populate/depopulate equipment racks. Disassemble broken or failed hardware equipment and replace parts using hand and/or power tools. Run/install ethernet and fiber optic cable per defined process. Operate barcode scanners and associated software tools. Follow detailed instructions and perform other tasks as directed. Work effectively within a team-oriented environment. Desired Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED. Minimum 3 years of general work experience in a skilled (nontechnical) field. Ability to speak and write English fluently and idiomatically. Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs (23 kg). Comfortable with frequent bending, kneeling, climbing, pushing/pulling, and lifting. Manual dexterity for component-level repairs. Pay Details:
$20.85 to $22.85 per hour
