The Production Inventory Control ensures accurate inventory counts, resolves discrepancies, and maintains inventory integrity across the facility. This role requires verifiable experience operating stand-up forklifts and prior experience working in warehouse inventory roles. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and safety-focused. Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Perform routine cycle counts and complete inventory audits as scheduled. Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, including missing, mislocated, or damaged items. Track and document inventory movements using the Warehouse Management System (WMS). Operate a stand-up forklift to move materials, load/unload goods, and access high storage locations. Ensure inventory is stored correctly and safely in assigned bin locations. Assist in shipping and receiving processes when needed to verify inventory accuracy. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate stock activities. Maintain accurate records of adjustments and inventory corrections. Support inventory planning, stock rotation, and space optimization initiatives. Follow all safety procedures and participate in safety audits and meetings. Perform general warehouse tasks and assist other departments as necessary. Required Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of inventory control experience in a warehouse or distribution center. Verifiable stand-up forklift certification and operational experience (Crown, Raymond, or similar equipment). Proficiency with inventory systems and data entry (WMS, ERP, or inventory software). Strong math and analytical skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Must lift to 50 lbs. and work in a physically active warehouse environment. Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment. Knowledge of Lean or 5S warehouse practices. Familiarity with inventory processes, procedures, and SOPs. Work Environment And Schedule
Full-time, Monday through Friday. Day shift schedule, with occasional overtime as needed. Climate-controlled and warehouse setting. Seniority level
