As our Freelance Social & Community Manager, you’ll be the face of our content and own the daily content pipeline across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts. You’ll concept, shoot, edit, and publish short-form, platform-native content that reflects Jinx’s brand voice while leaning into cultural trends. You’ll manage the social calendar, engage directly with the community, and collaborate with internal teams to support launches, campaigns, and tentpole brand moments. This is a hands-on role perfect for someone who’s equal parts creator and strategist—scrappy, fast-moving, and excited to set the vision while also making it happen. Responsibilities
Develop and execute Jinx’s social media content strategy across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube Shorts, and emerging platforms. Concept, shoot, edit, and deliver high-performing short-form content tailored to each channel. Own the content calendar and manage day-to-day posting and community engagement. Stay on top of trends, memes, sounds, and creators; adapt ideas quickly into Jinx-relevant content. Track and analyze performance metrics; use insights to continually optimize output. Partner cross-functionally to support campaigns and launches. Qualifications
3–5+ years of social media management and content creation, ideally with high-growth lifestyle, wellness, or CPG brands. Must love dogs! Must be comfortable on-camera and have content creation experience. Proven track record producing, editing, and publishing high-performing short-form video. Strong visual instincts and hands-on experience with mobile video and editing tools. Deep knowledge of social trends and digital culture—you live and breathe TikTok and IG. Analytical mindset with ability to turn performance data into actionable insights. Excellent collaborator; able to juggle multiple priorities with agility and speed. Passion for wellness, culture, and connecting with audiences. Freelance / contract role (project-based, with potential for extension). Estimated time commitment: ~20–30 hours per week. Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. Seniority level
