Position Summary
The RCM Support Supervisor serves as the primary liaison between psychiatric clinic operations and the centralized Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) team. This role ensures effective communication, alignment of processes, and accountability for revenue cycle performance. The supervisor will monitor collections, manage open accounts receivable, track claims rejections/denials, and provide actionable insights to support clinic financial health.
The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proficient with Microsoft Office tools, and skilled in building and maintaining collaborative relationships. Experience with Insync EMR is preferred but not required.
Key Responsibilities Act as the main point of contact between clinics and the centralized RCM team for any revenue cycle concerns or escalations. Run and analyze weekly reports on:
Collections Open Accounts Receivable (A/R) Claims rejections and denials
Review and present key performance indicators (KPIs) to program directors, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement. Facilitate regular meetings with program directors (weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly depending on needs) to review performance and align on strategies. Support clinics in improving billing, documentation, and revenue cycle processes to enhance collections and reduce denials. Partner with leadership to implement best practices and ensure consistency across multiple facilities. Prepare and distribute reports, dashboards, and summaries to leadership and clinic staff. Provide training and ongoing support to clinic staff regarding revenue cycle procedures and expectations. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience). 2+ years of experience in revenue cycle management, healthcare operations, or a related field. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel skills (pivot tables required). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively across diverse teams. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities and facilities simultaneously. Experience with EMRs preferred; Insync experience a plus. Skills & Competencies
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret financial and operational data. Problem-solving skills to address issues related to denials, collections, and process inefficiencies. Leadership presence and ability to influence without direct authority. Comfortable working in a corporate setting with frequent engagement across remote clinic locations.
