We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Compounder to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating assigned mixing machines, ensuring that finished products meet both customer specifications and regulatory requirements. This role involves adhering to company policies related to safety, quality, and regulatory standards, including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). The Compounder will also train and support other employees in equipment operation, perform cleaning and sanitization during product changeovers, and maintain accurate documentation. Responsibilities: Comply with all company policies related to employee safety, food safety, quality assurance, and regulatory standards, including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). Set up and operate assigned mixing machines to ensure finished products meet customer specifications and regulatory requirements. Use hand tools as needed. Train and support other employees in the operation of mixing equipment. Perform cleaning and sanitization of equipment during product changeovers. Inspect machinery before line start-up and after changeovers to ensure readiness. Accurately follow work orders and troubleshoot issues, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel when necessary. Maintain clear, accurate, and legible documentation and records. Collaborate with coworkers, including maintenance and quality assurance teams, to meet production goals. Provide support to other departments as needed and perform additional duties as assigned. Attend all required company training sessions. Essential Skills: 2+ years of experience in a GMP environment. Proficiency in production, general production, mixing, compounding, blending, batching, and batch making. Experience with FDA regulations and batch records. Strong understanding of food manufacturing processes. Additional Skills & Qualifications: Ability to maintain respectful communication with coworkers at all levels within the organization. Problem-solving skills for equipment and processes in partnership with maintenance. Ability to determine root causes for mistakes/concerns and diligently apply corrective action. Ability to read and write English; bi-lingual in Spanish preferred. Basic math skills. Basic computer skills. Work Environment: The work environment includes both 1st and 2nd shifts. The company prides itself on being family-owned, offering a family feel with incentives such as gas cards and cookouts. There is a summer incentive program with additional hourly pay from May 1st to August 30th, as well as merit increases available after a 6-month review and then annually. Job Type & Location: This is a Permanent position based out of Waukesha, Wisconsin. Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $40000.00 - $43680.00/yr.
