We are seeking a talented and experienced Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team in Portsmouth. Key Responsibilities:

Provide expert engineering guidance to ensure project compliance with industry standards, codes, and specifications. Analyze and resolve complex field and design challenges efficiently and effectively. Conduct comprehensive engineering computations and prepare detailed engineering plans and reports. Utilize advanced computer-assisted engineering and design software to develop design documents. Make informed design recommendations and adaptations for various projects. Manage engineering projects of diverse scale and complexity, both in the field and office settings. Plan, schedule, and coordinate phases of project work to ensure timely completion. Monitor project budgets and timelines, advising managers of any potential changes in scope. Assist in the preparation of proposals, scoping, and cost estimation for projects. Supervise and direct the work of engineers, technicians, drafters, and administrative staff. Maintain a strong focus on safety and act appropriately to ensure a safe working environment. Qualifications:

Bachelor's or master's degree in civil engineering from an accredited institution. Minimum of 5 years of experience in project engineering. Professional Engineer (P.E.) certification is required. Proven experience in the evaluation and structural design of infrastructure such as energy and industrial facilities, marinas, ports, and bridges. Familiarity with design codes such as API, IBC, AISC Steel Construction Manual, AWS, PCI, and AASHTO. Proficiency in design software including STAAD, RISA, Revit, AutoCAD, and Mathcad.
