Role: Chemist Engineer

Location: USA

Who are we looking for?

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Chemist Engineer who is having 0 to 2 Years of experience willing to join our R&D team focused on inkjet ink formulation and development. The successful candidate will contribute to the design, development, and optimization of ink systems, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external suppliers to ensure quality, performance, and system integration across various printing platforms

Key Responsibilities: Ink Formulation & Development:

Develop and optimize inkjet ink formulations to meet specific performance criteria such as color quality, durability, and media compatibility. Conduct laboratory-scale experiments and evaluate ink performance through analytical and print testing.

Quality & Process Improvement:

Assist in improving existing ink formulations for better quality, consistency, and cost-effectiveness. Troubleshoot formulation issues and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Supplier & Material Coordination:

Collaborate with raw material suppliers and pigment/colorant manufacturers to qualify new materials and scale up formulations for production. Ensure compliance with internal quality standards and regulatory requirements.

System Integration:

Work closely with hardware and media development teams to ensure seamless integration of ink into complete printing systems. Evaluate ink-media-printer interactions and contribute to system-level optimization.

Technical Documentation & Reporting:

Maintain detailed lab records, write technical reports, and present findings to stakeholders.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related discipline. Academic or internship experience in ink formulation, coatings, or related wet chemistry applications is a plus. Understanding of organic synthesis, colloidal systems, or surface chemistry is desirable. Familiarity with analytical tools such as rheometers, particle size analyzers, or spectrophotometers is an advantage. Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Preferred Skills & Specializations:

Background in material science, organic synthesis, or bioconjugate chemistry and Printer Domain. Exposure to metrology and analytical testing techniques. Ability to work in a cross-functional environment, including collaboration with suppliers and system engineers.
