We are seeking a skilled Electric Motor Mechanic to join our Terre Haute facility. In this hands-on role, you will repair, maintain, and test industrial electrical and mechanical equipment, including AC/DC motors, generators, pumps, and gearboxes. This is an excellent opportunity for a trades professional with strong diagnostic and repair skills to grow within a supportive and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose, disassemble, repair, and test a variety of industrial electrical and mechanical equipment
Use precision tools such as multimeters, high-pot testers, growlers, micrometers, and calipers for accurate measurement and troubleshooting
Perform failure analysis and document findings, following proper procedures for part identification, repair, and reassembly
Conduct both in-house and on-site repairs in compliance with OEM, EASA, and customer specifications
Maintain accurate records of testing, troubleshooting, and quality control checks
Follow strict mechanical and electrical safety standards
Requirements
1-3 years of experience or relevant training (EASA certification or military experience a plus)
Proven experience with industrial electric motors (automotive experience not applicable)
Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills
Skilled in repair, maintenance, and adherence to safety practices
Qualifications
Motor winding experience
Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality standards
