POSITION OVERVIEW
The theater is seeking dedicated and experienced Front of House team members to join us for the upcoming holiday season. Front of House staff members play a crucial role in ensuring our patrons' comfort, safety, and satisfaction while upholding our values of artistry, integrity, bravery, joy, and kindness. PLEASE NOTE: This position is a temporary role and is only needed for the month of December.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Greet patrons and provide exemplary customer service. Be ready and willing to go the extra mile. Assist with ticketing, seating, and accessibility accommodations. Address patron inquiries, concerns, and emergencies promptly and courteously. Ensure all on-location conversations are kind, courteous, and professional. Maintain all show spaces including mopping, vacuuming, sweeping, wiping down surfaces, and other miscellaneous cleaning in all front-of-house spaces including seating areas, lobby areas, and bathrooms. Manage audience entry and exit to minimize disruptions during performances. Contribute to the operation of amenities such as concessions, bar sales, and merchandise sales. Know and enforce theatre policies, including fire safety regulations and emergency procedures. De-escalate conflicts and support other staff as necessary. Maintain accurate records of attendance, incidents, and feedback from patrons. Foster a positive and professional work environment that promotes teamwork and high performance. Lead by example with positivity and kindness. Communicate with your team and supervisor. If you see a need, speak up. Other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Positive, can-do attitude. Experience in a similar role within a theatre or entertainment venue. Experience in food service, bartending, or retail is also a plus. Strong interpersonal customer service and communication skills. Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure. Basic computer proficiency and the ability to use established communication platforms and systems. Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by performance schedules. TABC Certification: must be completed prior to the first shift.
