Commercial Electrical Construction Project Manager
in Suffolk, Virginia. Job Summary Provides overall management in all phases of construction for one or more commercial electrical projects and develops new business opportunities related to specific Clients or geographical areas. Manages projects to exceed customer expectations, ensuring adherence to NEC, safety policies, and OSHA requirements. Establishes project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards within corporate guidelines. Represents the company in project meetings and assists in labor negotiations and strategy meetings. Manages financial aspects of contracts to protect the company's interests while maintaining good client relationships. Travel as required. Qualifications 5+ years of electrical construction project management experience in projects over $10M, including mission-critical, ground-up construction, and remodeling. Bachelor's Degree in engineering or construction management preferred. Valid Electrical License at the Journeyman or Master level strongly preferred. Proficient in computer skills, communication (oral and written), and interpersonal skills. Business knowledge of vendors in the electrical construction industry. Ability to travel.
