CNC Programmer
We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CNC programming and machining, with experience in operating CNC lathes and milling machines. This role requires proficiency in various programming languages and software, as well as a solid understanding of manufacturing processes and precision measurement techniques. Responsibilities: Develop and optimize CNC programs for lathes and milling machines using Fanuc, SolidWorks, and CAM programming software. Interpret blueprints and schematics to create precise machining instructions. Utilize GD&T (geometric Dimensional and Tolerancing) principles to ensure accuracy in production. Conduct setup and operation of CNC equipment while adhering to safety protocols. Perform regular maintenance on CNC machines to ensure optimal performance. Implement lean manufacturing principles to improve efficiency and reduce waste. Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM) for quality control checks. Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot issues and refine processes as necessary. Experience: Proven experience in CNC programming with a strong understanding of machining processes. Familiarity with CAD/CAM software including FeatureCam, Mastercam, SolidWorks, and related tools. Knowledge of electrical discharge machining (EDM) techniques is a plus. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively. Experience in utilizing precision measuring instruments for quality assurance is essential. Proficiency in math and geometry as it relates to machining operations.
