Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team, specializing in the fabrication of enclosures. The ideal candidate will be proficient in both TIG and MIG welding techniques, ensuring high-quality welds that meet our precision standards. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to read and interpret blueprints, and a commitment to safety and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform TIG and MIG welding on switchgear components, ensuring accuracy and structural integrity.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine welding requirements.
Set up welding equipment and select appropriate materials based on project specifications.
Inspect completed welds for quality, making necessary adjustments to meet company standards.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety regulations and protocols.
Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure efficient production workflows.
Conduct routine maintenance on welding equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Welder, preferably in switchgear or related electrical enclosures.
Proficiency in TIG and MIG welding techniques, with the ability to work with various metals.
Ability to operate welding equipment and hand tools safely and effectively.
High attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Physical stamina and dexterity to handle welding tasks for extended periods.
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or apprenticeship .
